Deadline church policy plan
By no later than the first week of June 2025, each Flemish municipality must have an updated and approved church policy plan ready, showing the future vision of all parish churches in the municipality. For new merger congregations, the deadline is July 2, 2025. The plan provides an opportunity to develop a well thought out and supported long-term vision for the churches, tailored to local needs and opportunities and taking into account heritage and financial viability.
